Happy New Years Eve. How will you be spending the last hours of 2010?
The Toje Holiday Jam of the Day and the final Jam of 2010 is ‘Igwe’ by Midnight Crew from the album entitled Igwe. I thought it would be nice to end the Christmas and holiday jams with a song from my homeland. I hope you have enjoyed the festive songs over the past month.
The Toje Holiday Jam of the Day is ‘Suddenly’ by Hezekiah Walker, Commissioned, Fred Hammond & RFC, and Angelo & Veronica from The Real Meaning Of Christmas album.
The Toje Holiday Jam of the Day is ‘Something About The Name Jesus’ by Kirk Franklin Featuring Rance Allen, Men of Standard and The Family from The Nu Nation Project album.
I hope you had a good Christmas. Please do not let the Tube Strike in London get you down this Boxing Day. Tune in to Toje’s world and browse older posts.
The Toje Holiday Jam of the Day is ‘Little Miracles Happen Everyday’ by Luther Vandross from The Home for Christmas album.
We lived to see Christmas 2010. What a blessing in itself.
As we celebrate the birth of Christ let us take time to reflect on our lives and all the many blessings we have received. I was moved by some of Pastor/Gospel Singer Marvin Sapp’s Facebook status updates and wanted to share one of them. Marvin’s Christmas Motivational Moment: “Christmas gift suggestions: To your enemy, forgiveness. To an opponent, tolerance. To a friend, your heart. To a customer, service. To all, charity. To every child, a good example. To yourself, respect”. I hope you can draw something from Marvin’s motivational moment.
It is the end of the week and also Christmas Eve. Hope it has been a blissful one. For those that are working today, I feel your pain. As a relief, blast some Toje Christmas Jam in your office.
The Toje Christmas Jam of the Day is ‘Silent Night’ with renditions from the following artists:
1) Kelly Price – From the One Family at Christmas album.
2) Boney James featuring Anthony Hamilton – From this Christmas Soundtrack.
