Marsha Ambrosius Prepares Sophomore Album

Marsha Ambrosius is back in the lab working on new music.

The British Songstress and former half of Floetry will be releasing her second album this year. Her first solo album Late Nights & Early Mornings debuted at No 2 on Billboard 200 and earned her 2 Grammy nominations alongside a social conscious video for Far Away.

In a recent interview with Essence she describes the sophomore album as being “a well prepared meal with gorgeous side dishes and snacks…The sound and authenticity is still there. As far as a difference, you will be able to tell I experienced more this time”.

Marsha has been tightlipped about collaborations on the album, however she will showcase new tracks at this July’s Essence Music Festival and hopes to release the album by Thanksgiving. This adds to the amazing array of Soul/R and B albums coming out over the next 6 months.
